In another effort to offer better services to exporters and importers, in May 1999 Tin Nghia company officially opened Bien Hoa Inland Customs Clearance Depot or so called ICD Bien Hoa.
Embracing the National Highway 51, the 180,000 sqm ICD Bien Hoa is fully functioned as a border pass for the forwarding of import-export goods. It also provides services of renting storages and bonded warehouses, freight forwarding, door-to-door customs declaration and insurance.
ICD Bien Hoa's storage system consists of nine bonded-warehouses and one normal one covering an area of 46,385 sq.m.. Thanks to its complete infrastructure and adequate specialized equipment, ICD Bien Hoa is chosen by the General Department of Vietnam Customs as a concentrated goods inspection site in Dong Nai province. On its two-hectare area, the site is capable of accomodating 36 containers and separate commodities at the same time.
Being capable of transporting great bulks of goods directly from the vessels in unlimited times, ICD Bien Hoa riverport has been brought in use. Located on the 9th Street and inside Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, it covers an area of 12,000 sq.m. Also, with 4 cranes of 20 tons to 110 tons lifting capacity and 4 barges of 350-ton load, ICD Bien Hoa river port can ensure fast and effective loading and unloading activities.
Thanks to this strength, Tin Nghia has further invested in building Long Tan containerent repot at Nhon Trach district. This 10.5 ha depot is designed to meet the demand of transporting, importing and exporting goods produced by enterprises in Nhon Trach and Long Thanh's industrial parks.
This is one of the import–export service models which has been appreciated by local and foreign businesses. ICD BienHoa is fully functioned as a border gate for goods freight forwarding and import-export. Further more, its professional system providing whole package service can reduce customer's worries and satisfy their needs. An instance is ICD Bien Hoa is capable of coordinating with shipping companies to receive export goods from various places and to clear up their customs and loading procedures. In case with import goods for which the Bill of lading specifying port of loading as ICD Bien Hoa, they will be forwarded directly to ICD Bien Hoa from vessels, and then cleared for transit after completion of customs formalities and procedures. Shippers then do not have to deal with shipping documentation relative to goods–in-transit.
